Common questions

Why LED over fluorescent or CFL?

Most fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps contain mercury and other hazardous materials, which means careful disposal requirements. Fluorescents also flicker — some people experience eye strain, headaches, and migraines as a result — and they take significant time to reach full brightness, especially in cold environments. LED uses solid-state technology: stable dimming without flicker, and instant full output at any temperature.

LED versus incandescent or halogen?

LED is roughly 85% more efficient. Incandescent and halogen convert 80–90% of their energy into heat rather than light. LED also lasts about 50 times longer.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — on both labor and materials. Materials carry manufacturer warranties; some run to 10 years, most are backed by at least 5. Labor is warranted for one year, though we investigate any issue fully to determine whether installation was a factor and work with you on a solution regardless.

Does someone need to be on site while work is performed?

No. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and technicians are screened and background checked. If you would rather be present when the crew arrives, we will work around your schedule.

How soon can work be scheduled?

We work within your timeframe, allowing for material lead times so the crew arrives ready to inspect and install.
